Absolute Body Control reforms and releases 'Never seen' EP and 'Wind[Re]Wind' CDPosted on 25/03/08
22 years after splitting up Absolute Body Control have now re-formed and will release "Wind[Re]Wind", which contains newly recorded versions of their best tracks so far next to the brand new EP "Never seen", containing a remix by The Horrorist. Expect also a tour to come. The band was formed by Dirk Ivens in early 1980, and was joined by Mark De Jonghe and Veerle De Schepper on backing vocals soon after. After releasing a track on the "Blitzpop 1" compilation and the release of their first 7" single "Is There An Exit?" (1981), Mark left the band and was replaced by Eric Van Wonterghem. In total ABC released 4 tapes and in 1984 Dirk became a member of "The Klinik", followed by Eric who left after the 2nd album to form Insekt. In 1989 they released their last tape "Tracks" which contained all ABC compilation contributions so far. In 1993 the VUZ label finally released the band's first CD, "Eat This".
The track list:
- I Wasn't There
- Give Me Your Hands
- Is There An Exit?
- So Hard
- Do You Feel It Inside
- Love At First Sight
- Did You Do It?
- I'm Leaving
- Melting Away
- Touch Your Skin
- So Obvious
