LTM announces the double CD set from Kid Montana, the Belgian electronic pop duo who recorded a string of releases for chic label Les Disques du Crépuscule between 1984 and 1987. "Temperamental + Singles" gathers together the "Temperamental" album from 1986 with the six track mini-album "The Las Vegas Gold Rush" and singles such as "Revisiting Yalta", "Spooky", "Love May Be Blind" and "Still Colour Waiting". Featured producers include Marc Moulin of Telex and Gilbert Lederman (Berntholer) plus you may expect remixes from Daniel Miller and guest such as Anna Domino and others. Digitally remastered, the 31 track, 2 hour 2xCD compilation also includes all tracks from the rare debut ep "Today" from 1982, and three tracks from a final unreleased demo recorded in 1987. The CD also includes QT versions of the video clips for "Still Color Waiting" and "Spooky" (see below), directed by Serge Bergli.
Kid Montana was initially the nom de guerre of Jean-Marc Lederman, former keyboard player with Digital Dance and Fad Gadget. After an experimental debut EP on Sandwich Records in 1982, JM Lederman spent time in London playing with The The and Gene Loves Jezebel, before recruiting American-born singer Dudley Kludt for the second Kid Montana single, "Revisiting Yalta", in 1984. The following year the duo signed with Les Disques du Crépuscule, releasing several electro-pop records. The duo split in 1987 and Jean-Marc Lederman afterwards recorded several hard electronic albums with The Weathermen, and with Julianne Regan as Jules et Jim.
