Genre/Influences: Dark-electro.
Format:
Digital.
Background/Info:
Australian
project Avarice In Audio is actually working on their forthcoming full length
“From The Rib Of Adam”. This EP is meant as a teaser to announce the fourth
full length opus.
Content:
“Trojan
Horse” is a song in the truest vein of the band; dark-electro driven refined
with a catchy touch related to future-pop music. Next to an alternative edit
the song has been also remixed by Binary Division creating a more atmospheric
version.
Last,
but not least we also get an exclusive song entitled “Hellfire Club”, which is
featuring Studio-X and Prozium. It’s an instrumental, pumping track.
+
+ + :
Avarice In Audio transformed dark-electro music into a more accessible format by the addition of
catchy leads. The title song is an efficient piece for an EP and the perfect
track to announce a new album. “Hellfire Club” is more than simply a B-side
cut, but a damned, furious and essential song! I even prefer it to the title
song.
–
– – :
I expected a bit more out of the remix and so-called “Achilles Heel
Version” of the title song.
Conclusion:
“Trojan
Horse” is a solid appetizer to welcome the album of Avarice In Audio!
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
The donations are safely powered by Paypal.
