These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of side-line.com (the “Site”), published by Side-Line (“Side-Line,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), an independent music news publication covering industrial, electro, EBM, post-punk, darkwave, and related genres since 1989. By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
Who can use the Site
The Site is intended for a general audience. If you are under the age of 16, you should only use the Site with the involvement of a parent or guardian. Some pages link to third-party services (such as online casinos or crypto platforms in our Casino News and Crypto News sections) that are restricted to users who meet the legal age and eligibility requirements in their own jurisdiction – it is your responsibility to check those requirements before using any linked third-party service.
Editorial content and no professional advice
Side-Line publishes music news, reviews, interviews, and related editorial content. We aim for accuracy and clearly label opinion and quoted material, but content is provided for informational and entertainment purposes only and does not constitute financial, legal, medical, or other professional advice. Content in our Casino News and Crypto News sections is informational and is not gambling, investment, or financial advice; any decision to use a linked third-party service is made at your own discretion and risk.
Intellectual property
Unless otherwise credited, articles, reviews, and original site content are owned by Side-Line or used with permission from the relevant rights holder (labels, artists, publicists). Album art, press photos, and video embeds remain the property of their respective owners and are used for editorial/promotional purposes. You may share links to our articles and quote short excerpts with clear attribution and a link back to the original article; you may not republish, scrape, or redistribute substantial portions of our content without our prior written permission. Band and artist names, logos, and trademarks referenced on the Site belong to their respective owners.
Copyright complaints
If you believe material on the Site infringes your copyright, contact us at info@side-line.com with (1) a description of the copyrighted work, (2) the URL of the material you believe is infringing, (3) your contact details, and (4) a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is unauthorized. We will review and respond to valid notices.
User submissions and comments
If you send us press releases, music, images, or other material for coverage, or post comments on the Site, you confirm that you have the right to share that material and you grant Side-Line permission to use it for editorial coverage on the Site and associated social media. We reserve the right to edit, decline to publish, or remove any submission or comment, including content that is unlawful, defamatory, harassing, spam, or otherwise inappropriate, at our discretion and without notice.
Advertising, sponsorship, and affiliate links
The Site may display paid advertising, sponsored content, or affiliate links (including in our Casino News and Crypto News sections). Sponsored or paid content is intended to be identifiable as such.
