The synthpop band Red Flag, the project by brothers Chris Reynolds and late Mark Reynolds (vocals) is back. The band which ceased to exist in 2003 after Mark Reynolds' death is now up and running again and is anno 2007 centered around Chris Reynolds. A new Red Flag album will be released this summer and will hold "a true Red Flag sound - as true as it can be without my brother Mark," Chris says in the recent interview. Also www.redflag.org is back up and running with Red Flag music, photos, articles, interviews, blogs, video clips and place to post your comments. As a gift to Red Flag friends there is also a free Red Flag ring tone available for download on the website. The site and various social music related sites will also soon hold new never-before-heard tracks. Red Flag was a synthpop duo founded in 1984 in San Diego by the brothers Reynolds, born natives of Liverpool, England. Their first album, Naïve Art, was released in 1989 by Enigma followed by a single on I.R.S. Records after which they founded an independent record label, Plan B Records, from which they have released all their subsequent recordings.
