Black Lung launches brand new ‘Armageddon’ video from upcoming album
Black Lung
Taken from the brand new Black Lung album “The Brutal Gardener” is the newest single and video for “Armageddon”. The brand new 12 track LP “The Brutal Gardener”, out on June 19th, comes after the recently released Black Lung 7″ single “Depopulate”.
For this new video David Thrussell again worked together with Sydney-based designer and filmmaker Richard Grant (I+T=R).
Regarding the new album Thrussell says: “We are at a moment in history that is full of opportunity. Technology is poised to transform the lives of millions of people throughout the world. Philanthropy also has a unique and critical role to play in this process. By focusing its patience, capital and attention on the links between technology, art, music, culture and population control, philanthropy will change not just lives but the very context in which the field of philanthropy operates. This album explores twelve very different scenarios for the future of global governance, cultural leadership and the rebuilding of trust with a weary and battered bovine public. At a moment of growing fragmentation and polarization, culture and precision messaging can serve as a platform for advancing dialogue, rebuilding trust, prioritising cooperation and realising action-oriented partnerships.”
This new Black Lung album is out via Ant-Zen Records.

Why we ask
Advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations we have not put up a paywall, and we refuse to add annoying advertising, so we need to ask for your help. Side-Line’s independent journalism takes time, money and hard work to produce, and we do it to push the artists we like, who are equally fighting to survive.

Chief editor of Side-Line – which basically means I spend my days wading through a relentless flood of press releases from labels, artists, DJs, and zealous correspondents. My job? Strip out the promo nonsense, verify what’s actually real, and decide which stories make the cut and which get tossed into the digital void. Outside the news filter bubble, I’m all in for quality sushi and helping raise funds for Ukraine’s ongoing fight against the modern-day axis of evil. Besides music I’m also an SEO and AI content flow specialist and have an interest in everything finance from stocks to crypto. There is music in everything!
