Andy Bell announces ‘Extended Blue’, a 21st-anniversary 3-vinyl edition of ‘Electric Blue’
Andy Bell’s “Extended Blue” reissues his 2005 “Electric Blue” album as a 3LP set on August 28, 2026, preceded by “Love Oneself” / “Delicious” 12″ on August 14.

Erasure frontman Andy Bell will reissue his 2005 solo album “Electric Blue” as “Extended Blue“, a deluxe 3LP set pressed on three different shades of blue vinyl, on August 28, 2026 through Lexer Music. It marks the album’s first appearance on vinyl since its original release with Manhattan Clique, the remix and production duo Bell worked with on the project.
“Electric Blue” was released in 2005 through a label that collapsed around the same time, leaving the album without wide distribution despite a handful of digital and CD reissues since. “Extended Blue” gathers the original album alongside the b-sides from its singles, also making vinyl appearances for the first time. The set is limited edition and comes with a set of four art prints; the first 500 pre-orders also receive a bonus CD with an identical tracklisting, designed to slot into the 2020 3-CD “Electric Blue” reissue.

Vinyl 3 – “See the Lights Go Out”, “The Rest of Our Lives”, “Jump”, “Back Into The Old Routine”, “Little Girl Lies”, “Names Change”.
The reissue is preceded on August 14, 2026 by a double A-side 12″ single pressed on pink vinyl, pairing new 2026 Manhattan Clique remixes of “Love Oneself” and “Delicious” with Bell’s original album versions of both tracks; the tracklist runs “Love Oneself (Manhattan Clique 2026 Extended New York Remix)”, “Love Oneself (Andy Bell Version)”, “Delicious (Manhattan Clique 2026 Extended London Remix)” and “Delicious (Andy Bell Version)”. Both “Love Oneself” and “Delicious” feature vocals from Propaganda‘s Claudia Brücken. Lexer Music is also releasing two “Electric Blue 21″ t-shirts, in blue and pink, alongside a bundled edition combining the 3LP, the 12” single and a t-shirt.

Andy Bell is best known as the vocalist of Erasure, the synthpop duo he formed with Vince Clarke in 1985. Alongside his work with Erasure, Bell has released a run of solo projects, starting with “Electric Blue” in 2005, a collaboration with the remix and production team Manhattan Clique. The album’s original label folded close to its release, limiting its circulation despite later CD reissues.
Bell has continued to release solo material in the years since, including 2025’s “Ten Crowns” album and its accompanying “The Crown Jewels” 4-CD box set, as well as the 2025 single “Heart’s A Liar” with Debbie Harry. “Extended Blue” returns to the “Electric Blue” catalogue for its 21st anniversary, giving the album its first vinyl pressing on August 28, 2026, alongside a new 12″ single of reworked “Electric Blue” tracks on August 14.
