Twin Tribes’ debut album “Shadows” has returned on vinyl in a new limited pressing. The American darkwave duo’s 2018 debut is available again as a limited LP on emerald with black-splatter vinyl through Beso de Muerte, distributed by Audioglobe, alongside a restocked Record Store Day edition. Both pressings are capped at 300 copies.

The new edition presses “Shadows” on emerald vinyl with black splatters, limited to 300 copies, with the original jacket artwork and a new insert. Presented as the album’s sixth US edition, it is sold through Twin Tribes’ Bandcamp page and Audioglobe rather than general distribution. A second pressing has also returned to stock: the Record Store Day edition on turquoise and purple vinyl, also limited to 300 copies, previously sold only through record shops.

“Shadows” runs to nine tracks: “The Path to Antares,” “Shadows,” “The Vessel,” “Lapiz Lazuli,” “Tower of Glass,” “Dark Crystal,” “Portal to the Void,” “Talisman” and “Catharsis.”

About Twin Tribes

Twin Tribes is an American darkwave duo formed in 2017 in Brownsville, Texas, by Luis Navarro (guitars, lead vocals, synth, drum machines) and Joel Niño, Jr. (bass, synth, backing vocals). Their music draws on 1980s gothic rock, post-punk, synth-pop and new wave, with The Cure and Depeche Mode among the cited reference points, alongside Latin American rock acts such as Caifanes and Soda Stereo. The duo released “Shadows” in 2018, followed by “Ceremony” in 2019, the remix album “Altars” in 2021 and the third studio album “Pendulum” in 2024. Twin Tribes has issued music across labels including Manic Depression, Young and Cold and Beso de Muerte, the imprint behind the new “Shadows” vinyl.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
