Among such popular casino games as poker, roulette, and some others, blackjack occupies one of the leading positions. If you look through the available,as Polish says, “lista kasyn w Polsce”, all of them will offer to play blackjack there. However, each gambling facility may have different types of blackjack. It can be a combination of offers, or the casino games provider may have their favorite type they provide to the casino visitors. The two most popular types of blackjack are European and American ones. However, online casino providers may have a greater variety of this game as compared to land-based casinos. So, what are the most preferable types of blackjack among Polish players? Let’s clarify.

Essentials about Blackjack

In general, blackjack is considered to be one of the most popular casino games. It is mainly due to its simplicity, clear character of rules, and duration of the game, which is not long. It is crucial because the play does not become boresome. However, like any other casino game, it has its peculiarities and nuances, which should be considered. For example, the primary aim here is to win in a game against the dealer. You do not have to collect 21, as in the classic variant of this card game. Here, you should be more successful than your opponent (dealer). This is the essence. However, if you succeed in collecting 21 (an ace plus ten), then you will wing in the correlation three to one. It means that you will win three times more than the bet. This is what is called blackjack.

American and European Blackjack

It would be logical to say that European blackjack is more prevalent in Poland, since this country belongs to the central part of Europe. But American trends are influential in the gambling sector as well. So, the American type of game is no less popular here. It also allows counting on bonuses and other pleasant outcomes of the game.

  1. American type

This type is also called the basic one. Here, the dealer has one open card and one hidden card. For an exposed ace or ten, the dealer looks at a hidden card, and if he has a blackjack, the casino wins. This shows the essence of the game. The winning combination here is only one that was provided to the gambler by the dealer after the first distribution of cards. The cards are not changed, or any other combinations possible. Moreover, one may surrender here. When the gambler understands that it would be impossible to win something, they can give up and give only half of their bet to the dealer (casino). Hence, the rest will remain with the gambler.

  1. European type

Here, the dealer takes the second card only after dealing the cards to the players. If the croupier received a blackjack, all players receive all their additional bets back. However, the insurance remains with the casino facility. Here, we should clarify what blackjack insurance means. When the dealer’s first card is an ace, it increases their chances to win significantly because the chances of receiving blackjack are high. So, the player can pay an additional price and ensure their winning. Hence, if the dealer receives a blackjack, the gambler will be able to win in the correlation two to one. As a result, the main bet remains lost, but the players receive a chance to save their chips.

So, what to choose?

Of course, it is up to the player which type of blackjack to select. In online versions, they have a variety of preferences. It is better to play both of the variants. However, the statistics say that European blackjack prevails among gamblers in Poland.
