Sheffield synth-wave duo Skyracer have announced their debut full-length album, “Skyracer V1.0”, set for self-release on 24 July 2026. The eleven-track record collects the band’s singles alongside new songs.

Skyracer bring a cinematic pop-rock sound that mixes 90s pop-punk guitars with nostalgic synths and narrative songwriting.

“Skyracer V1.0” runs eleven tracks: “Intro,” “I Just Wanna Know,” “Howling,” “Los Alamos,” “Under The Lights,” “We’ve Been Alive,” “Drenched In Blood” (featuring House Of Serpents and JAH), “Champion Edition,” “I’ll Be Better” (featuring Sweet Little Machine), “Hung The Moon” and “Last Token.” The album combines previously released singles with new songs and is available to pre-save ahead of release.

The band described the record: “We never set out with a grand plan. We just got together every week, cooked food, hung out and made the kind of music we wished existed when we were growing up. Looking back, these songs tell the story of who we were, who we are now, and the things we’ve held on to and lost along the way.”

The duo have shared an official video for “Champion Edition”:

About Skyracer

Skyracer is a synth-wave and pop-rock duo from Sheffield, England, made up of lifelong friends Dan Fox and Chris Brayshaw. The pair build their sound from pop-punk guitars, synths and narrative songwriting. Before this album the duo released a series of singles and supported synth-rock act LeBrock on a UK tour in late 2025. Their eighth single, “Last Token”, arrived in January 2026 and closes “Skyracer V1.0,” the duo’s first full-length.
