Berlin gothic rock band Sorry We Weren’t Here Before have re-released their five-track EP “Forest Lights” through Agoge Records. The digital EP returned to stores on June 1, 2026 as “Forest Lights – 2026 Version” with a new mix and master, after the original was removed from Spotify following a distribution mix-up.

The EP contains “Dancing Wings,” “Vibrations Will Told,” “Behind The Times,” “Child In Your Heart” and “Faithful Lights.” It was first issued on Agoge Records on October 25, 2025, and preceded by the single “Vibrations Will Told.” The 2026 version keeps the same tracklist with revised mix and mastering, and is available on digital platforms only.

The band have shared a video for the EP “Forest Lights”:

About Sorry We Weren’t Here Before

Sorry We Weren’t Here Before is a gothic rock and post-punk band based in Berlin. The lineup is Robert Koric on vocals, Sandy Pötzsch on bass and Gianmarco Bellumori on guitar. The band records for Agoge Records, a Berlin independent label working in post-punk and gothic rock. “Forest Lights” is the band’s first EP, released in October 2025 after the single “Vibrations Will Told.” With the original pulled from Spotify, the band reworked the mix and master and reissued the EP digitally in June 2026 as “Forest Lights – 2026 Version,” restoring the five tracks across digital stores.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
