The Colombian band Psyborg Corp. The band entered the industrial scene with the “The Mechanical Renaissance” album and the “Technocracy” single, both released in 2010. “The Frozen Shrines of Obsÿdÿana” is their second album offering a ruthless wintry machine of 16 tracks full of icy melodies, rumbling avalanche bass lines and colossal freezing beats. Released in 2 versions (a normal and a deluxe edition) the album is a conceptual piece created by the band telling the sci-fi story of “Obsÿdÿana”, a crystal planetary system with a hi-tech society threatened by a cosmic phenomenon in the midst of war, facing annihilation.
Boosting the momentum of two releases and numerous participations in compilations around the world, Psyborg Corp. succeeds in staying in the middle of the attention.
