Sex Virgin Killer issue international vinyl LP of ‘ANGEL’ on Young & Cold Records
Tokyo dark wave act Sex Virgin Killer issue the international version of “ANGEL” on Young & Cold Records, on limited vinyl LP and CD.
Japanese dark wave and post-punk project Sex Virgin Killer have released the international version of their album “ANGEL” through the German label Young & Cold Records, on vinyl LP and CD. The Sex Virgin Killer “ANGEL” international edition carries the catalog number YCR/224, with the vinyl pressing limited to 333 copies and the CD to 200 copies.
The album first appeared in digital form on March 5, 2026. The physical international edition followed on Young & Cold Records, which lists a May 15, 2026 release date for the record; the band states the limited vinyl LP was completed afterward and is shipping on or around June 10, 2026.

Sex Virgin Killer ‘ANGEL’: two versions, formats and credits
“ANGEL” exists in two separate editions. The international version is issued by Young & Cold Records, based in Augsburg, Germany, on vinyl and CD; a Japanese version is issued by the Tokyo label lilii sound loom on CD and cassette. According to the band, the two editions carry different mixes, mastering, tracklists and artwork, and the vinyl format is exclusive to the international version.
The international version was mixed and mastered by Daniel Hallhuber of Young & Cold Records. Art direction and design are credited to Atsuo of the band Boris, with logo design by Lejoly Lucile, photography by Yoshihiro Mori and hair and make-up by Chiaki Hino. The Japanese version was mixed by Yui Kimijima, with cover art by Keigo Kurematsu.
Sex Virgin Killer is credited as Aisha (vocals), Lilii Mar (vocals, guitar, bass and synthesizers) and Hammer (drums, percussion and electronics). The songs are written by Lilii Mar, with lyrics by Aisha and Lilii Mar, and the album is arranged and produced by the band.
‘ANGEL’ tracklist and availability
The international version of “ANGEL” runs nine tracks: “Angel”, “Bright Nightmare (ver. Dance in Gloomy Lights)”, “The Lights Will Fall”, “Saturate My Soul”, “Parasite On You”, “The Arrow”, “A Stranger”, “Hikari No Tate” and “Lissajous”. The Japanese version contains the same nine songs in a different running order. The international edition can be streamed and ordered through the band’s Bandcamp page and the Young & Cold Records store.

Sex Virgin Killer is a dark wave and post-punk project based in Tokyo, Japan, built around Lilii Mar with vocalist Aisha and drummer Hammer. The project moved into dark wave and post-punk across a run of releases from 2023 onward.
Its discography includes the 2023 album “DEVIL”, the 2024 EP “Heaven” and the 2024 release “Visual Shock Noise”, along with the 7-inch single “Devil/Rebirth”, issued through Sangreal Records in the US in 2024. In 2025 the Swiss Dark Nights label compiled the band’s recent work on “Sanctuary [2017–2024]”. “ANGEL”, described as the band’s third full-length album, extends that run and marks the project’s first release through Young & Cold Records, the Augsburg label co-founded by Daniel Hallhuber in 2013.
