Nuda to release ‘Trigger – Remix Compilation’

Seattle darkwave/industrial artist Nuda will release the digital album “Trigger – Remix Compilation” on 5 December 2025 via Bandcamp and all major streaming platforms. The new remix collection revisits the track “Trigger” from her 2024 album “Stranger” with contributions from a line-up of electronic and industrial producers.
The compilation gathers eight versions of “Trigger”: the original album mix, a new “Trigger (Nuda Remix)”, and reworks by Sirus, Angel Stitch, Ade Fenton, genCAB, Ripley Sterling and AVGMNT.
The original “Trigger” and Nuda’s own remix are written by Kaylie Cortez, with the album version mixed and mastered by Derek Brown. The “Trigger (Nuda Remix)” is mixed by Fernando Ruiz and mastered by Nicky Howard.
“Trigger – Remix Compilation” follows Nuda’s third full-length “Stranger”, released on 1 November 2024 and featuring the original version of “Trigger” alongside tracks such as “Break”, “Psycho”, “Losing Touch” and “Don’t Stay”. “Stranger” is available on CD and digital formats through her official store and Bandcamp.
About Nuda
This is the solo project of Seattle-based musician Kaylie Cortez, a solo darkwave/industrial artist who creates instrumental soundscapes with “a feminine touch to industrial music.”
Before launching Nuda, Cortez was active as a guitarist in the electronic band Possessed Tranquility. Around 2019 she shifted focus to her solo work, releasing the debut album “Intimate Senses” on 12 February 2019 as a self-released CD and digital title. The album features seven tracks, written and mixed by her, with mastering by Pierre Ferguson.
Her second album “Mindful Tragedies” followed during the COVID-19 pandemic period, appearing in 2020 and featuring collaborations with DK-Zero, Possessed Tranquility and Jaymie Valentine of CinderGarden.
A third album, “Stranger”, was released on 1 November 2024. The ten-track album was again written by her, mixed and mastered by Derek Brown, with guitars on “Trigger” by Thomas Crawford.
Alongside her studio releases, she has performed live as a keyboard player with industrial bands DK-Zero and FleischKrieg, and has supported artists including IAMX, Al1CE and Matte Blvck.
