Industrial Complexx will publish “Industrial Complexes Vol.1,” a print fanzine on industrial culture and sound art, on June 26, 2026. The first printed volume runs to almost 200 pages, appears in a bilingual English and Spanish edition, and is open to reserve in both languages, with a web edition also planned.

The issue collects conversations, essays, documents, archives, and reviews on sound, industrial culture, and experimental practice. It is edited by Ximo Noguera and published from Alzira, in the Valencia region of Spain.

What is in ‘Industrial Complexes Vol.1’

The contents reach across the experimental and industrial field. Listed features include a piece on Graeme Revell, SPK, and The SPKtR; the Super·sonic. Francisco LĂłpez Collection; the electronics builder Hainbach; Viennese Actionism; the artist Pierre Molinier; Neil Ruttenberg’s “Mask of Sarnath (The Nightmare Cut)”; and CASAMATA, with Alain Wergifosse, Javier Hernando, and Ángel Lalinde. A reviews section closes the issue. The SPK feature connects to ground Side-Line has covered, including “SPK’s return as The SPKtR” earlier in 2026.

About Industrial Complexx

Industrial Complexx is an independent publishing project run by Ximo Noguera and based in Alzira, Spain. “Industrial Complexes / Complejos Industriales” is its first printed title, issued as a bilingual fanzine documenting industrial culture, sound art, and experimental and radical artistic practice. The Vol.1 print run is the project’s first physical release, with English and Spanish print editions and a planned online version. The publisher has framed the launch as a contribution to independent publishing in the field, with further volumes implied by the “Vol.1” numbering.

Since you’re here

we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
