We are starting the preparation for the 3rd volume in our popular free download compilation series. “Face The Beat: Session 3” will again be focusing on new talents which will get a large platform to showcase their material! Both “Face The Beat: Session 1” and “Face The Beat: Session 2” (both still available right here) have proven to be very successful with ten thousands of downloads.
Just like the previous volume, we will again be supporting a good cause and this time we will collect all donations and finance an aid program in Greece to provide warm meals to those who need it – so especially Greek bands are more than welcome to submit material! More info on the NGO that will be receiving the aid will be announced in the next weeks. We have also taken measures to make sure that no money goes wasted to salaries of managers etc.. So what you will fund will go straight to the aid program.
Send your MP3 submissions (preferably previously unreleased and GEMA free material) via wetransfer / dropbox to info@side-line.com . Please do NOT send files via email! We will contact you upon selection to request an unmastered WAV file and will also send you some paperwork. The deadline for submissions is October 15th which leaves you plenty of time.
We are open to all kind of dark styles as you can hear on the previous compilations that are available for free download on http://sidelinemag.bandcamp.com . This compilation will again be powered by Side-Line and promoted to a whole range of magazines and DJ’s. Get your music heard and for established bands, test out your new music to a wide public!
We expect to release “Face The Beat: Session 3” in December 2015.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
The donations are safely powered by Paypal.
