Genre/Influences: Indie, pop-rock.

Background/Info: is a rather young Italian formation unleashing their official debut EP featuring 4 songs.

Content: “Home” is mixing some 80s influences with pure indie pop-rock music. The songs are pretty danceable while carried by impressive guitar play. The vocals are pretty charismatic. This EP features only great songs although the last cut ends with an absolute climax.

+ + + : It’s always exciting discovering a new formation and I can assure you “Talk To Her” is a ‘hot’ newcomer! The songs are perfectly accomplished while driven by impressive guitar parts. The final part of “Burning” is pure transcendental experience. But there’s no real ‘main’ song as all tracks are great. Next to the genius guitar play I also like the vibrating bass lines, which are mainly coming through at “Zodiac”. Last, but not least Talk To Her has a talented singer, which impresses at “Nightfall”.

– – – : I don’t see real minus points expect I really want to hear more songs from this band!

Conclusion: Talk To Her is mixing different influences together, but the result is refreshing and powerful! This is a band to keep an eye on.

Best songs: “Burning”, “Zodiac”, “Nightfall”, “Forest”.

Rate: (8).

I have been working for over 30 years with Side-line as the main reviewer. My taste is eclectic, uncoventional and I prefer to look for the pearls, even if the bands are completely unknown, thus staying loyal to the Side-Line philosophy of nurturing new talents.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
