Principe Valiente offers new video for single ‘Something New’

Principe Valiente have announced the release of their new single “Something New”, set to be part of their fifth album “In This Light”, expected to drop in May 2024 via Metropolis Records. The upcoming album “In This Light” is said to feature a mix of mellotrons, samplers, analog synths, Rickenbacker 12-string and Gretsch guitars, alongside melodic piano and distorted bass, all complemented by Honorato’s voice.

Principe Valiente, originating from Stockholm, Sweden, has carved a niche within the alternative music scene with their blend of dark pop, drawing from post-punk minimalism and shoegaze. The band was formed in 2007 and has included members Fernando Honorato (vocals, bass), Jimmy Ottosson (guitar), Rebecka Johansson (keyboards), and Joakim Janthe (drums) over the years. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2011 and lead to extensive touring across Europe.
