Merciful Nuns – Elysene/Demons (EP-Digital/CD – Solar Lodge)
The new EP from Merciful Nuns serves as an addendum to their recently released opus, “Oneironauts”. This EP stands out by featuring two singles alongside two B-sides, each track bringing its unique flavor to the collection. The songs vary in style, ranging from the Dark-Rock vibes of “Demons” to the more intense, Dark Wave-infused “Elysene.” This diversity extends to the B-side tracks as well, showcasing different vocal styles and atmospheres. Personally, I find “Elysene” to be the standout track. (Rate:7).

About Merciful Nuns
Merciful Nuns is the German post-punk/dark-rock project of Artaud Seth, who was previously part of The Garden Of Delight and also leads the project Near Earth Orbit. Seth is additionally the head of the Solar Lodge label. Merciful Nuns released the album “Kvltan” in 2022, four years after its predecessor “Anomaly”, and followed it in 2025 with “Oneironauts”, described by Seth as the second part of the story around Kvltan’s origin. The “Elysene/Demons” EP extends that release with two singles and two B-sides.
