Swedish band Me The Tiger makes a triumphant return with their fourth album, “Envy”. After the release of “What Is Beautiful Never Dies” in 2017, fans have eagerly awaited new material, and this year, the band delivers -marking their first release on home turf via Progress Productions. “Envy” may feature just 8 tracks, but nearly every one is a hit. The band’s signature Electro-Pop/Rock sound is highlighted by powerful choruses and invigorating guitar riffs. The songs skillfully oscillate between intense energy and soft, almost ethereal moments. Adding to the album’s appeal is Gabriella Åström’s remarkable vocal performance, blending fragility with passion. (Rating:8½).

Why we ask

Advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations we have not put up a paywall, and we refuse to add annoying advertising, so we need to ask for your help. Side-Line’s independent journalism takes time, money and hard work to produce, and we do it to push the artists we like, who are equally fighting to survive.
