MASKS ‘Eventually’: the single and video
“Eventually” arrives with an accompanying video, and is out now to stream and download through the project’s official link. On the writing of the track, sFox says: “When this song was coming together I kept hitting a point where the wheels were falling off, and I realized that was what actually needed to happen- to fall apart and become something new. It needed to be two completely different songs smashed together to capture all that I was feeling around it.”
sFox described the wider aim of the record as a search for feeling rather than form, commenting: “I love the idea of a record that you put on, and it changes the temperature of the room,” and adding: “I’m hunting. I’m trying to find goosebumps and to break out of what I think it’s supposed to be and allow myself to hear what it is.”

About MASKS
MASKS is the synth-pop project of sFox, a multi-instrumentalist and producer who works anonymously and performs behind a mask. The project’s press materials describe the mask as “an ego hack to minimize distraction from their creative transmissions” rather than a means of concealment, and frame MASKS as a single artistic identity spanning music, a graphic novel and online content.
The project’s first release was the single “First Life”, issued earlier in 2026 and also the opening track of the forthcoming EP of the same name. It was followed by the single “Everybody Ever” and, on June 9, 2026, by “Eventually”. The band cites The Blue Nile, Peter Gabriel and Doves as reference points for the project’s sound. The “Eventually” single is the third track to be shared from “First Life”, which MASKS will self-release on July 10, 2026.
