Majestoluxe – Stolid State (Digital EP – Majestoluxe)
Majestoluxe is a Swedish solo-project led by Conny Fornbäck. Active for several years, the project released a new EP just before summer, featuring four tracks. One of these songs includes a guest appearance by J△3 sEUQCAJ from à;Grumh. The music is best described as Minimal-EBM, with strong influences from old-school EBM. The tracks are driven by solid, recognizable EBM basslines, accompanied by half-whispered vocals. However, the collaboration with the à;Grumh frontman stands out, bursting with power and raw, passionate screams. Overall, it’s an intriguing production. (Rate:7).

About Majestoluxe
Majestoluxe is the solo project of Swedish musician Conny Fornbäck. The project mixes industrial and dark electronic sounds and has released music through the Swedish label Novoton since the early 2020s.
In 2025, Majestoluxe and Memoria, the project of Tess de la Cour, released the collaborative single “Closer” on Novoton, following joint live appearances in Germany and Sweden.
“Stolid State”, the four-track EP reviewed here, was issued in 2024 and features a guest appearance from the à;Grumh frontman on one track.
