Janosch Moldau – Aid And Abet (Mini-Album – Digital/CD Janosch Moldau Records)
Janosch Moldau has been a familiar figure in the synth-pop scene for nearly 20 years. Although this mini-album was released last year, it reached us much later. The work features six tracks, all showcasing the signature sound of the German artist. The music blends soft, Electro-Pop melodies with a melancholic atmosphere, creating a rich emotional layer. Moldau’s distinct, androgynous vocals add to the uniqueness of the project. The songs maintain a calm yet danceable rhythm, with “Karma” standing out as one of the most polished and refined tracks I’ve heard from Moldau’s work. (Rate:7).

Janosch Moldau is a German musician and songwriter, born in 1974, who has released his synth-pop under his own name since the mid-2000s, mostly through his own label Janosch Moldau Records. His debut album “Redeemer” appeared in 2005, followed by “Motel Songs” in 2008, “Lovestar” in 2012 and “Minor” in 2015 – both issued through Motor – the mixed album “Ghost Tracks” in 2016, and “Host” in 2019.
