German darkwave artist Die Tödin releases a self-titled compilation on 30 October through Heartworm Press, the label founded by Cold Cave’s Wesley Eisold. The collection gathers nine recordings made between 2022 and 2025 and expands on Die Tödin’s earlier “Selected Singles” release on Minimalkombinat.

Die Tödin said the compilation follows a difficult stretch of her life: “The last two years have been very difficult for me, so I want to draw a symbolic line under that period with this release.” She described the collection as a near-complete retrospective, calling it “almost everything Die Tödin has released to date.”

Why we ask

Advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations we have not put up a paywall, and we refuse to add annoying advertising, so we need to ask for your help. Side-Line’s independent journalism takes time, money and hard work to produce, and we do it to push the artists we like, who are equally fighting to survive.
