Seattle synthwave duo Dead Astronauts released the single “Get Lost” on Bandcamp on 26 June 2026 via Cold Transmission Music, and followed it on 10 July 2026 with an official video. “Get Lost” is the first single from the band’s forthcoming fifth studio album, “Shallow Grave.” No release date for the album has been announced.

“Get Lost” layers synthesizer, guitar and processed atmosphere under vocals from Jared Kyle over a steady electronic rhythm. The lyrics follow a relationship described in terms of consumption and erasure, repeating the line “what will you do when I’m just bones” across the verses. The song and its video are credited to the duo of Kyle and Slade Templeton.

About Dead Astronauts

Dead Astronauts began in Seattle in 2011 as a synthpop project and digital art initiative founded by designer and producer Jared Kyle Nickerson. Hayley Stewart of Toronto joined in 2012 as producer, vocalist and lyricist, and the expanded lineup released the debut album “Constellations” in 2014, followed by “Arms of Night” in 2016. In early 2017, Slade Templeton, previously of Crying Vessel and Celine, joined as producer.

The band moved to Cold Transmission Music around 2020, starting with the single “Forgetting Me.” Florence Bullock of Los Angeles joined on vocals and lyrics the same year. Cold Transmission Music released “Silhouettes” in 2021, reissued the following year as “Silhouettes Redux,” and released the album ‘Ghosts’ in 2024. The band self-released the collaborative single “Yuu Yuu” in December 2025.

“Get Lost,” released in June 2026, opens the campaign for Dead Astronauts’ fifth studio album, “Shallow Grave,” with Kyle and Templeton fronting the release.
