With his sixth solo release, Robert C. Kozletsky poses a haunting question: what would you do on your last day on Earth?
It’s hardly a comforting thought, and the artist translates it into an intensely dark Cinematic experience. The focus is entirely on atmosphere—one that is overwhelmingly bleak, if not outright obscure. Deep, humming sound waves, laced with crackling field recordings, conjure an apocalyptic vision where all seems lost and hopeless. Some passages evoke a profound sense of drama, while others leave you feeling as though you’re wandering through an abandoned ghost town.
Apocryphos immerses us in a nightmare, where sound becomes the guide through the landscapes of our imagination. (Rating:8).

About Apocryphos
Apocryphos is the dark ambient and drone project of Robert Conrad Kozletsky, based in Indiana, Pennsylvania, USA. Kozletsky started the project in late 2011, before the dissolution of his earlier act Psychomanteum, originally spelling the name “Apócrýphos”. Since early 2015, following the release of “The Prisoners Cinema”, the project has used the simplified spelling Apocryphos.
Kozletsky has released his solo work through Cryo Chamber, including the album “Stone Speak” in 2016, which featured a collaboration track with Dutch producer Kave. He has also worked alongside Atrium Carceri and Kammarheit, first on the 2015 collaborative album “Onyx”, and again on the 2017 reunion album “Echo”. Kozletsky now returns to Cryo Chamber with his sixth solo release, “Ultimim Saeculum”.
