The band says this about their self-titled debut album: “We’ve poured our hearts and souls into this album and we’re excited to be sharing the first single with you all. As you’ll hear, we wanted to push the boundaries of gothic and EBM genres and explore new sonic territories. For us, this isn’t just another album; it’s a testament to respecting tradition while pushing the boundaries of modern music. This is just the beginning of our journey, and we’re excited to see where it takes us.”

About Virgin Vampires

Born in 2023 from the minds behind Pink Panther Project, Virgin Vampires is the first music collaboration between Ether, Alex and Uela. While initial collaborations between the trio yielded promising results, Uela’s true vocal range performed better in a darker, more electronic direction – a stark departure from the band’s initial vision. With renewed focus on Pink Panther Project, Virgin Vampires returned to its roots, crafting powerful demos centered on male vocals.

This creative detour led to a prolific year and a half, with both bands recording a staggering 32 songs across two albums, out now.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
