Torpedo drop ‘Now’ single ahead of new album ‘What the Fucked Do We All Do Now? | Lights’

Torpedo
Swiss noise rock band Torpedo will release their third full-length album, “What the Fucked Do We All Do Now? | Lights,” on June 27, 2025 through Broken Clover Records.
The Lausanne-based trio now drops the lead single “NOW”, which the band describes as part of a larger attempt to capture “the rawness of real life, that of you and me in our kitchens, weeping over a human world that has become unbearable for all the Living.”
Recorded and produced by the band, the upcoming release builds on the experimental approach established in their previous works, particularly 2022’s “Orpheo_ Nebula”, which they described as a “devastated opera made of layers, collages, and experiments.” That album, which was recorded live and built around six sprawling poems, followed their 2019 debut “Sphynx”, a post-punk/grunge album recorded after sessions in Ireland.
To support the new album, Torpedo will embark on a 2025 West Coast tour starting in July, with performances confirmed in California, Oregon, and Washington.

About Torpedo
Torpedo was founded in 2016 by Carro Loubère (guitar/vocals) and Jay Liseron (bass/drum machine), and initially operated as a psychedelic post-punk duo.
The group initially used drum machines to develop layered, experimental soundscapes. Their debut full-length “Sphynx” was released in 2019 following a recording session in Ireland and introduced a grunge-inflected post-punk style. Drummer Drew Hammer joined in 2018, completing the trio.
Since then, the group has expanded its live performances and released two singles — “HOPE | DREAM” (2023) and “La Mer Ondulée” (2024).
In 2020, Torpedo recorded “Orpheo_ Nebula,” a live-based concept album rooted in poetic and historical references, released in 2022. The band toured the U.S. West Coast twice and released standalone singles in 2023 and 2024. Their music has been issued exclusively via Broken Clover Records.
