Finnish goth and coldwave artist Suzi Sabotage has released a new single and video titled “Suden synty” via the Berlin-based label Out Of Line Music. Known for her icy synthpunk sound and commanding stage presence, Sabotage delivers a track rooted in transformation and primal liberation.

The artist explains the track like this: “Sometimes you first have to be humbled to thrive. […] It’s a song about liberation.”

The release is accompanied by the below video.

Lyrically, the track explores the symbolic death of one’s former self to make space for authentic rebirth. According to Suzi Sabotage, the song also reflects a longing to abandon societal constraints and return to an untamed, ancestral origin — represented by the metaphor of becoming a wolf.

Confirmed Suzi Sabotage live shows:

  • June 27, 2025 – Freedonia, Barcelona, Catalonia
  • June 28, 2025 – Wurlitzer Ballroom, Madrid, Spain

About Suzi Sabotage

Suzi Sabotage is a Finnish singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist from Helsinki, known for her work in dark coldwave, synthpunk, and post-punk, with occasional neofolk influences. She began her solo career in 2017 with the digital EP “Nothing, Never, Nowhere” after performing with bands like Masquerade and Virgin in Veil.

Signed to Out of Line Music, her music blends synths, ethereal vocals, and traditional Finnish elements like the kantele, drawing comparisons to Siouxsie and the Banshees, Boy Harsher, and Lebanon Hanover.

Her debut album “Postmodern Dystopia” was released in May 2021. Notable tracks include “Persona Non Grata” (2020), dedicated to social outcasts, “Nazi Goths, Fuck Off,” and “I Am The Storm” (2022), with proceeds supporting the Ukrainian Red Cross.

Her first Finnish-language song, “Oodi Surulle” (2022), mixes neofolk and darksynth. She’s collaborated with Corlyx on “Kill Cave” and featured on tracks like “Falling Down.”

Suzi’s humanitarian efforts include donating half the proceeds from “Singles 2020” to Black Lives Matter and curating “Goths For Palestine” (November 2024) for Palestinian aid.
