(Photo by Nicole Imhof) Zurich-based industrial metal band Susurration has released its newest single “Engels”, ahead of their album, “Hate Is My Love Language”, due for release in September 2024.

“Engels” was written by Dennis Bäsecke-Beltrametti, Michael Hirst, Hannes Bachofner, and Dave Wieser, with lyrics penned by Dennis Bäsecke-Beltrametti. The track showcases Jessy Bleak on vocals, Michael Hirst handling guitars, Hannes Bachofner on keys, and Dave Wieser on drums.

Mixed by Mixed Signals, “Engels” is characterized by a mix of industrial metal blended with atmospheric effects and aggressive EBM beats. Thematically the single delves into themes of faith, spirituality, and the human experience.

The single follows Susurration‘s previous album, “Make Love Like War”, released in September 2022.

Why we ask

Advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations we have not put up a paywall, and we refuse to add annoying advertising, so we need to ask for your help. Side-Line’s independent journalism takes time, money and hard work to produce, and we do it to push the artists we like, who are equally fighting to survive.
