Red Industrie – Spiritualizer (Digital/CD/Vinyl Album – Advanced Synergy / Pür Zynth)
Helder Camberos returns with a new opus under his Red Industrie project. The Mexican artist and owner of the Advanced Synergy label has already enjoyed a prolific career with various projects (including the Minimal-Electro act Isis Signum), but Red Industrie has clearly become his most prominent work. Over the years, his sound and influences have evolved, yet they remain rooted in an Electro/Minimal-Wave style, fused with elements of Electro-Pop, Cold-Wave, and even Punk. While the core is still an Electro production, the presence of guitar adds a Dark-Wave and Post-Punk influence. Sometimes dreamy, sometimes geared toward the dancefloor, the album offers a broad range, even featuring guest vocalist Sarah Noxx on one song. Red Industrie remains a fascinating project that, in my opinion, deserves more recognition. (Rating:8).

About Red Industrie
Red Industrie was created in 2008 in Guadalajara, Mexico by Helder Camberos. The project started as an offshoot of his Minimal-Electro act Isis Signum and grew into his main outlet. Camberos describes his style as “future clash body music”, a mix of EBM and Electro-Clash that has since moved toward Post-Punk and Cold-Wave territory.
The project has recorded vocal duets with Dirk Da Davo of The Neon Judgement, Sara Noxx and Psyche, and has been remixed by acts such as Actors, Ash Code and Schonwald. Red Industrie also appeared on the Alfa Matrix compilation “Electronic Body Matrix 1” and contributed a remix to the limited box edition of Leaether Strip‘s 2010 album “Mental Slavery”.
On stage, Red Industrie opened Mexican shows for Nitzer Ebb in 2011, Front 242 in 2014, and Selofan and Qual in 2022, all in Guadalajara. With “Spiritualizer”, released on digital, CD and vinyl through Advanced Synergy and Pür Zynth, Camberos adds a new full-length to the project’s timeline.
I have been working for over 30 years with Side-line as the main reviewer. My taste is eclectic, uncoventional and I prefer to look for the pearls, even if the bands are completely unknown, thus staying loyal to the Side-Line philosophy of nurturing new talents.
