The Halle (Saale)-based German Darkwave / post-punk duo Left For Pleasure will release their second album “Claymore” on vinyl via Young & Cold Records. The LP arrives as a limited transparent red with black vinyl edition (300 copies) following the digital release on August 22, 2025. The vinyl street date is set for October 31, 2025.

The band describes “Claymore” as “10 chapters of an inner battle.”

About Left For Pleasure

The project is a female–male darkwave/post-punk duo from Halle (Saale), Germany. The duo surfaced with self-released digital tracks in 2021 (“Angel Dust,” “Schattenriss – Remastered,” “Vase”) on Bandcamp. The band brings contemporary darkwave reminding of Lebanon Hanover, Selofan, and Linea Aspera.

In 2022, the duo released its debut album “Human Contract” through Detriti Records, the debut was out on vinyl and digitally.

Across 2023, Left For Pleasure issued stand-alone digital singles (“Diffuse,” “Frontal,” “Song For Nuni”), keeping their synth-driven, guitar-textured palette.

In 2025, the group partnered with Young & Cold Records for the second album “Claymore” , available digitally and as a limited transparent red with black LP (300 copies). Daniel Halhuber mastered the album at Young & Cold Studio.

Why we ask

Advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations we have not put up a paywall, and we refuse to add annoying advertising, so we need to ask for your help. Side-Line’s independent journalism takes time, money and hard work to produce, and we do it to push the artists we like, who are equally fighting to survive.
