When Brexit struck in 2020 it meant a lot of problems for UK labels to keep their activity up and running from an export point of view. Brexit was the withdrawal of the United Kingdom (UK) from the European Union (EU) on 31 January 2020 which resulted in a stream of customs declarations, mandatory safety and security certificates, etc.. One of the victims of these changes was Resurrection Records which had to put a halt on its EU distribution activities via the scene’s main distributor in the EU, Audioglobe.

After 2 years, the UK label has now solved all issues and will again be distributed via Audioglobe, and that already includes two Inkubus Sukkubus albums, the all new album “She of a Thousand Names” (their 27th album) and the 2021 production “The Way of the Witch” (their 26th album).

The British gothic rock/pagan rock band was founded in 1989 in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire by Candia Ridley, Tony McKormack, and Adam Henderson. The group currently consists of guitarist Tony McKormack (ex-Screaming Dead), vocalist Candia McKormack and bassist Roland Link. The band uses a drum machine and sequencer to provide percussion and orchestral backing. They also perform as a fully acoustic act with Abigail Blackman on cello, Nick Gibbs on violin, and Marcus Gilvear on drums.

This is the teaser for their newest album.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
