Parisian queercore electro/industrial artist FARNAKHT released the single “The Solution” on 11 July 2026, available now on Bandcamp and streaming services. It is the fifth release of 2026 from Masha Von Farnakht, the producer behind the project, and her first new material since the April 30 EP “My Heart Will Stop in the Dark.”

Von Farnakht composed and produced “The Solution” as, in her own words, “my musical and artistic testament.” She describes the track as a “noisy and declarative campaign for LGBTQIA+ rights,” with its abrasive sonic textures intended to reflect “the mounting fears and anxieties at the decline of modern civilization.”

The release follows the January 2026 EP “der katastrophen ist gekommen” (“The Catastrophe Has Come”) and 2025’s “EUGÈNE” and “N°2 Classic Drama” EPs. A separate single, “Final Thoughts,” had actually been recorded back in May 2025 before its release, making “The Solution” the artist’s first newly written material since “My Heart Will Stop in the Dark.”

About FARNAKHT

FARNAKHT is the solo project of Masha Von Farnakht, a queercore electro-industrial producer based in Paris. Von Farnakht describes her sound as “queercore electro-industrial, intensely dark and uncompromisingly energetic,” built around themes of LGBTQIA+ identity and the anxieties of contemporary civilization.

Her release chronology includes the EPs “EUGÈNE” and “N°2 Classic Drama” in 2025, followed by “der katastrophen ist gekommen” in January 2026 and “My Heart Will Stop in the Dark” on 30 April 2026. “The Solution,” released 11 July 2026, is her fifth release of the year and continues the run of frequent, self-produced output that has defined the project through 2026.

Since you’re here

we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
