This Australian sound guru has crafted a conceptual work that explores the future, particularly the impact of technology. This theme inspired David Thrussell to create an eclectic Electro opus, blending Minimal-Electro with IDM and Techno influences. Some tracks even seem to descend from an otherworldly realm, enhanced by robotic vocal effects. Black Lung represents both modernism and divergence, pushing boundaries in innovative ways. (Rate:8).

About Black Lung
Black Lung is the solo project of Australian musician David Thrussell, also known for Snog and Soma. Nearly all Black Lung releases have appeared on the German label Ant-Zen since 1999, including “The Andronechron Incident”, “Rhic-Edom”, “The Grand Chessboard”, “The Coming Dark Age” and “Full Spectrum Dominance”. Thrussell discussed the ideas behind the project in a Side-Line interview published in June 2024. “The Brutal Gardener” continues the Black Lung catalog on Ant-Zen.
