Calva Y Nada, the German electro and dark-wave project of Constantin Warter, release the live album “El calor de Zwickau” on October 2, 2026 through emmobiz Records. The label issues the Club Seilerstraße, Zwickau recording across vinyl and CD editions.

Calva Y Nada bring a German electro and dark wave that mixes EBM rhythms and minimal-electronic textures with German- and Spanish-language vocals.

The “El calor de Zwickau” set runs fifteen tracks, among them “Die Reise,” “Aufprall,” “Schmerzenskrone,” “Dias Felices,” “Habemus Papam,” “Fernes Leid,” “La pura mierda” and “Der Sturm,” closing with an encore of “Borriquito,” “Paradies” and “Rascheln.”

emmobiz Records releases “El calor de Zwickau” on October 2, 2026 in several editions, including a double LP, an LP set, an LP box, a CD set, a CD box and a three-CD edition. Part of the run includes a bonus 7-inch or 3-inch CD with a one-off joint performance of “Deutschland” by Prager Handgriff and Calva Y Nada. The three-CD edition pairs the new “El calor de Zwickau” recording with the earlier “Live @ Club Seilerstraße” set and an encore disc. Side-Line covered the project’s 2024 “Live @ Club Seilerstraße Zwickau” release and the 2026 “La Pura Mierda” EP.

About Calva Y Nada

Calva Y Nada is the German electro and dark-wave project founded in 1990 by Constantin Warter, who records under the name Breñal. The project grew out of his earlier group Glatze des Willens — “Calva” is Spanish for the German word “Glatze” (bald). Calva Y Nada released early albums on Hyperium, including “Dias Felizes” (1991) and “Monologe eines Baumes” (1993), followed by “¡Palpita, Corazón, Palpita!” (1994) and a final studio album, “Schlaf,” in 1998.

The project went quiet at the end of the 1990s and returned in the 2010s and 2020s. Since 2024, emmobiz Records has run a vinyl reissue and live program for the catalogue, and the 2026 EP “La Pura Mierda” marked its first new studio material since 1998. “El calor de Zwickau” continues that run with a live document released on October 2, 2026.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
