Genre/Influences: Ethereal, Dark-Ambient.
Format: Digital, CD, Vinyl.
Background/Info: More than a decade after their last production, Italian formation All My Faith Lost strikes back with new work. The album is simply entitled “Untitled” and features eleven songs. Several guest musicians contributed to this album.
Content: The album stands for dark reverie; a mix between Ethereal female voices and Dark-Ambient atmospheres. The songs have been accomplished by different instruments while the angelic voice of Viola Roccagli supports the composition with a touch of grace and mystery.
+ + + : This work is a noticeable return for the Italian formation we all remember from their work released by Cold Meat Industry. “Untitled” is an artistic creation for its authenticity. The work has been composed with different instruments like guitar, bass, violin, piano, flute… which creates a graceful effect, but also an evasive experience. There’s a visual strength running through the production, which for some passages even has something Cinematographic like. Last, but not least I also like the ‘concept’ of the album, which is based on paintings from Surrealists.
– – – : The album is an enjoyable and somewhat relaxing experience, but I regret there’s not exactly a true climax or crescendo passages in this work.
Conclusion: “Untitled” is a refined production creating a sonic bridge between Ethereal- and Dark-Ambient music.
Best songs: “Awakening The Moon”, “Violent Dreams II”.

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. And unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
The donations are safely powered by Paypal.
