About Vampire Valentine

Vampire Valentine formed in October 2025 in Newcastle upon Tyne, founded by singer and producer Michael Longstaff and bassist and guitarist Kieron Wright; US producer Ricky Conover contributes synth and production work. The band mixes gothic rock, post-punk and darkwave, and cites The Sisters of Mercy and Twin Tribes among its influences.

The band signed to Morella Records as the label’s first act in January 2026. Morella Records is an independent label founded in 2026 by Blake Carpenter and based in Georgia, in the United States, with a roster spanning goth rock, deathrock, darkwave and post-punk. Across 2026 Vampire Valentine released the album “Dry Remains” and the “Pale Dawn” EP before the single “In The Dark” on June 19, 2026. The self-titled album, due in August 2026, is the band’s next full-length.
