Polish experimental project Berbeluha has released the new album “Drama from Nietzsche”, available now on Bandcamp as download and CD, and all other digital streaming platforms.

The album title references both German philosopher Friedrich Nietzsche and the Polish idiom “dramat z niczego” (drama from nothing), reflecting the album’s overarching theme: creating turmoil from trivial events, echoing Nietzsche’s critique of moral structures and society’s search for meaning.

You can check out the full album below.

The official video for “Full” was created by Andrzej Nowicki, a woodcut artist and educator from Łódź. Nowicki and Berbeluha’s John Bérb-Eluha began collaborating after meeting in the Błędowska Desert in 2020. The “Full” video is part of a continuing series of film miniatures between the two artists. More on Nowicki’s work can be found at andrzejnowicki.com.

About Berbeluha

Berbeluha is a Polish experimental project founded by John Bérb-Eluha in Kraków, Poland. Initially emerging from the local underground art and performance scene in the early 2020s, Berbeluha’s music blends absurdist storytelling, minimal electronics, and philosophical motifs. The project was conceived as a response to everyday existential absurdities, drawing inspiration from both Eastern European surrealism and German critical philosophy.

Berbeluha began releasing music independently through Bandcamp, gradually building a niche following through multimedia collaborations and limited-run releases.

The project’s discography includes previous thematic releases exploring topics such as language collapse, mortality, and post-industrial identity.

Since you’re here …

… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.

Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.

If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
