Italian post-punk band Talk To Her will release their second album “Pleasure Loss Desire” on 30 October via Shyrec and Icy Cold Records. Available now is the lead single “PLD”. accompanied by an official video directed by Daniel Bagolin.
The band describes the track as “built on dark, obsessive synths, tribal drumming, sharp bass, deep baritone vocals, and guitar textures,” adding that the song “gradually mutates… culminating in an explosive, intense, and liberating finale.” The single and album were co-produced and recorded by Maurizio Baggio (The Soft Moon, Boy Harsher).
The overall sound of the new material is colder and more aggressive than the band’s debut, with post-punk at the core and late-’90s/early-2000s post/alt-rock influences.
About Talk To Her
Talk To Her formed in 2015 in Padua/Este, Italy. The original and current lineup is Andrea Visaggio (vocals, synthesizers), Stefano Murrone (guitars), Riccardo Massaro (bass), and Francesco Zambon (drums).
The band issued the debut EP “Home” in 2018 via Shyrec, followed by the first album “Love Will Come Again” on 14 February 2020 (Shyrec/ Icy Cold). In September 2025 the band returned with the single “PLD”, previewing the second album “Pleasure Loss Desire” due 30 October via Shyrec/Icy Cold.
