Sjellos – Dyer Expedition OST (Digital/CD Album – Cryo Chamber)
With “Dyer Expedition OST”, Tibor Knopf presents a Soundtrack created for the video game of the same name, itself inspired by H. P. Lovecraft.
Ten tracks have been assembled and meticulously crafted using an impressive arsenal of sounds, effects, and field recordings. Intense low-frequency tones permeate the entire work, creating a dense and extremely dark atmosphere. A powerful sense of imagery quickly emerges, which, in my opinion, remains the ultimate criterion when listening to Dark-Ambient and related Cinematic music. Overwhelming sonic eruptions genuinely blow you out of your seat and drag you into an endless black abyss. This production is filled with subtle auditory details, making headphones almost essential for a second listen in order to experience its full impact.
Sjellos has delivered a particularly polished production that I can only highly recommend. (Rating:8).

About Sjellos
Sjellos, also credited as Sjelløs, is a project of Tibor Knopf, who also records as Disguised, HartWare, and Raisyn. Knopf works through Silentsphere Studios, a video game audio outfit, scoring retro first-person-shooter and horror titles including “HROT”, “Fida Puti Samurai”, “POOLS”, “Diluvian Ultra”, “CRUEL”, and the “Death Wish” expansion soundtrack for “Blood: Refreshed Supply”. A Sjellos track, “Chamber of Reflection”, also appears in “Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number”.
As Sjellos, Knopf records Dark Ambient built from drones, field recordings, and cinematic soundscapes for Cryo Chamber, the Oregon-based label. A prior Cryo Chamber album, “Transmission Lost”, preceded the soundtrack work. “Dyer Expedition OST”, written, produced, and performed by Knopf and mastered by Simon Heath, scores the puzzle-adventure game “Dyer Expedition” and was released on Cryo Chamber on 24 March 2026.
