Corpus Delicti announce new album ‘Liminal’ for November 28 + UK tour in 2026

Corpus Delicti announce new album 'Liminal' for November 28
French post-punk/gothic rock band Corpus Delicti will release the new album “Liminal” on November 28, 2025. The record was produced by guitarist Franck Amendola with the band and mastered in London at The Exchange by Graeme Durham. The band calls it “an album both dark and luminous, urgent and alive,” adding that it “stays true to [their] roots while embracing a modern edge.”
The band will start its first UK tour in February 2026, with dates including Edinburgh, Newcastle, Leeds, Birmingham, Bristol and more.
“Liminal” will be out on digital, CD, and multiple limited vinyl editions via the band’s official stores.
The band previously trailed the album with the single “Room 36,” and earlier returned with the 2023 single “Chaos.”
About Corpus Delicti
Corpus Delicti formed in Nice, France, in 1992 with Sébastien Pietrapiana (vocals), Franck Amendola (guitar), Christophe “Chrys” Baudrion (bass) and Laurence “Roma” Romanini (drums).
Across a compact first run (1992–1997), the band issued three studio albums in quick succession: “Twilight” (1993), “Sylphes” (1994) and “Obsessions” (1995). Early pressings appeared via Hit Import/Glasnost and Cemetery/Nightbreed in Europe, while U.S. exposure grew through Cleopatra Records, which later compiled the material as “Sarabands” (1996) and “Best Of Corpus Delicti” (1998).
Renewed international interest led Cleopatra to release the 4-CD box “The Complete Recordings 1992–1996” in July 2022, collecting the three studio albums plus rarities and live tracks, and packaged with new liner notes by former Cleopatra A&R Athan Maroulis. The same period saw the band reactivate activity in 2020 with the original core of Pietrapiana, Amendola and Baudrion; due to Roma’s health issues, live duties transitioned to drummer Laurent Tamagno.
In 2023 the group issued the single “Chaos” as a first new studio recording of the reunion phase. A first live album, “From Dust To Light,” followed on 11 October 2024 (Twilight Music Production), documenting a 2023 Mexico City concert; the release appeared on double vinyl, CD and digital services.

Strip out the promo nonsense, verify what’s actually real, and decide which stories make the cut and which get tossed into the digital void.
