Combichrist keeps on spreading its tentacles over different scenes. Florida-based death metal act Morbid Angel will see the b-side of their new single "Nevermore" remixed by Combichrist. The single will be out on May 16th as seven-inch vinyl and digital download.
"WTF?" we hear some think. Well, the mix is not all that strange. Norwegian Andy LaPlegua (his real name is Ole Anders Olsen actually) had one of his many musical roots in metal as vocalist for the band Lash Out until 1999.
Lash Out did two European tours. One on their own, in a black van, in 1994 with twenty dates (Denmark, Belgium, Germany, Czech Republic, Switzerland and England), and one as a headliner for the M.A.D X-MAS festival tour in 1995 with ten dates. They also did a couple of tours in Sweden, one tour and numerous gigs all over Norway.
More recently LaPlegua launched the punk rock act Scandinavian Cock which keeps him busy finding his place in different scenes.

"Illud Divinum Insanus" was recorded at Mana Recording Studios in St. Petersburg, Florida with engineer Erik Rutan (former Morbid Angel guitarist and producer for such bands as Cannibal Corpse a,d Goatwhore).
