Goteki reforms, releases best of and records new material

As of August 21st 2008 Goteki are reforming. A charity one-off reunion gig earlier this year reminded the band of everything they loved about playing live as Goteki, and ex-Goteki singer and bassist Ross Tregenza and Alastair Power's new project Lamorna was becoming so similar to Goteki in musical style that it seemed silly not to reform the band. Goteki have begun work on an iTunes exclusive 'best of' compilation covering 2000-2005 and featuring unreleased live tracks, studio outtakes and remixes, as well as the best songs from all their albums so far. After that they'll be aiming to release their new EP "Santa Muerte" in the winter. Look out for live dates and news at www.myspace.com/goteki .
