After remixing Elvis ("A little less conversation"), Sex Pistols and Coldplay, Junkie XL aka Tom Holkenborg is now having a go on material by popsinger Justin Timberlake. The track Holkenborg has remixed is the single "What Goes Around..." taken from Timberlake's "Futuresex/Lovesounds" album. A small detail: the album was produced by the how-to-steal-a-tune-from-an-unknown-musician producer Timbaland. Let's hope for Timberlake that this time Timbaland did not steal entire parts to use on this material. In related Junkie XL news, Tom Holkenborg composed and arranged the music for the movie "Blind", the debut of director Tamar van den Dop. And finally Junkie XL is no longer signed to Road Runner Records, all albums will from now on be self-released.
