Tyske Ludder’s 'Creutzfeldt' EP returns as 222-copy LP and 77-copy box via Emmobiz
Tyske Ludder will reissue their 1996 EBM release “Creutzfeldt” as a limited vinyl edition via Emmobiz Records on February 27, 2026. The EP appears as part three in the label’s ongoing Tyske Ludder reissue campaign, following new LP editions of “Bombt die Mörder?” and “Dalmarnock“.
The standard LP version of “Creutzfeldt” is limited to 222 numbered copies and mirrors the 10-track configuration of the expanded CD edition, collecting the original six songs plus four remixes. An additional collector’s edition, capped at 77 copies, comes on natural/orange transparent splatter vinyl and adds a dog tag chain pendant, metal pin and military cap.
The new vinyl edition has the following tracklist:
Side A
- “Zeichen Der Zeit” – 4:51
- “Inferno” – 4:18
- “Schwarzes Wasser” – 3:52
- “D.b.B.b.” – 4:16
- “Sieben Tage Lang” – 3:33 – cover of Dutch band Bots, written by Günter Wallraff, Hans Sanders and Lerryn.
Side B
- “Schwarze Lippe” – 5:26
- “Monotonie” (SutterCaine RMX) – 4:47 – remixed by SutterCaine
- “Wir Sind Des Geyers Schwarzer Haufen” – 4:31 – composed by Fritz Sotke, programmed and mixed by Sebastian I. Hartmann
- “Zeichen Der Zeit” (I Am Your Sword RMX by Vicious Alliance) – 5:27 – remixed by Vicious Alliance
- “Sieben Tage Lang 2006” (Wertstahl RMX – original by Bots) – 4:05 – remixed by Wertstahl, original composition by Günter Wallraff, Hans Sanders and Lerryn.
Originally issued as a six-track EP on KM-Musik in 1996 and later expanded on CD by Black Rain, “Creutzfeldt” is regarded as part of the band’s mid-1990s EBM phase, sitting between the albums “Bombt die Mörder?” (1994) and “Dalmarnock” (1995). The new LP brings that material back to vinyl in advance of the group’s 2026 dates, including a joint show with The Juggernauts in Rüsselsheim and an appearance at the 18th Elektrisch Festival in Zwickau.
About Tyske Ludder
Tyske Ludder is a German EBM band formed in 1989 in Lower Saxony by vocalist Claus Albers and keyboardist/programmer Olaf A. Reimers. The group’s name uses a Danish and Norwegian expression historically applied to local women involved with German soldiers during the Second World War.
Tyske Ludder grew out of earlier wave and new-wave formations, moving toward a fully electronic sound by the end of the 1980s. After signing to KM-Musik, Tyske Ludder released their debut album “Bombt die Mörder?” in 1994, followed by “Dalmarnock” in 1995 and the “Creutzfeldt E.P.” in 1996.
In the mid-2000s the band resumed activity with reissues of the early albums and new material on Black Rain, including the albums “Sojus” (2006), “Anonymous” (2009) and “Diaspora” (2011), alongside the EPs “Scientific Technology” and “Bambule“.
A subsequent partnership with Golden Core/ZYX produced the EP “Meskalin” and the full-length “Evolution” (2015).
From 2019 onward, the band issued EPs like “Frohes Festung Europa”, “Ungewiss”, “Kaputt” and “Transformation” through 73 Seconds Bismarck and digital platforms. Emmobiz Records then launched a comprehensive vinyl campaign: the 222-copy yellow vinyl and 77-copy box reissue of “Bombt die Mörder?” in August 2024, followed by the green vinyl editions of “Dalmarnock”.
In parallel, the band prepared the concept album “Weltbühne“, centred on texts by German writer Kurt Tucholsky and released on June 27, 2025 via Emmobiz.
The current lineup consists of Claus Albers (vocals), Olaf A. Reimers (keyboards, programming), Jay Taylor (drums, also known from Tactical Sekt and Harmjoy) and Sebastian I. Hartmann (production and sound design). Former members include Ralf Homann and Lars Bürvenich.
