Prophän releases ‘Ana Lmalhi F Dnoubi’ on Antibody label
Moroccan artist Prophän (Othman Cherradi) has released “Ana Lmalhi F Dnoubi” via Belgian label Antibody, a four-year archive written after his move to Paris.
Moroccan artist Prophän, the solo project of Othman Cherradi, has released “Ana Lmalhi F Dnoubi” (أنا الملهي فذنوبي) via Belgian label Antibody on 17 July 2026. The title translates as “I am distracted by my sins,” a phrase drawn from Moroccan Sufi poetry, and the material was written following Cherradi’s relocation from Casablanca to Paris.
Within that context, the title refers to distraction, desire and misalignment, reflecting a period marked by distance from origin, loss of direction and a gradual erosion of creative and personal balance. Antibody describes “Ana Lmalhi F Dnoubi” as a four-year archive that traces situations, relationships and their residual impact, built around a recurring tension of awareness without correction and repetition without resolution. The label adds that the material moves toward a point of collapse, with no resolution proposed: “What remains is a trace.”

The music on “Ana Lmalhi F Dnoubi” is written by Othman Cherradi, mastered by Yannick Franck, and features artwork by Elsa Stubé. The release marks Prophän’s first solo release on Antibody, a Brussels-based label specializing in de(con)structed forms of techno, new wave, EBM, industrial, dark ambient, sound art, metal and noise.
About Prophän
Prophän is the solo electronic music project of Othman Cherradi, a Casablanca-born artist now based in Paris. Cherradi began releasing music under the Prophän name in the late 2010s, building a catalogue that runs from hypnotic, mental techno toward pieces he has described as baroque post-punk, drawing on industrial, post-punk and North African trance-inducing musical practices. In 2021, he released the single “Znaqi Khawya,” documenting a night walk through curfew-emptied Casablanca streets, alongside the EP “Nafssiya Mehtaja” on Istigkeit Records and the album “Those Who Fight In God’s Way” on Khemia Records.
Cherradi also runs the experimental techno label Rhadâb and co-founded Mindless, a series of live events, podcasts and radio broadcasts, alongside Nova Ouacheb. In 2023, he formed Araf, an Arabic-sung experimental project with Joseph Jadam of Maltash, drawing on post-punk, industrial and Levantine and Maghrebi music; Araf’s EP “Bathrah” was released on Antibody on 5 May 2023, marking Cherradi’s first connection to the label. “Ana Lmalhi F Dnoubi” follows as his first release under the Prophän name on Antibody, continuing the archival, Sufi-inflected direction of his recent work.
