Neon Space Men announce 3-CD ‘XXX – Remixed Extended Exposed’ for September 12

Neon Space Men
The German synthpop trio Neon Space Men will close the first phase of their catalog with a 3-disc set, “XXX – Remixed Extended Exposed – The Last Chapter of Neon on My Naked Skin”, out September 12, 2025. The box compiles all remixes and extended versions issued by the trio since their debut single in December 2022, and adds ten tracks that were previously unreleased. The band describes this as “the last chapter” of material tied to the album “Neon on My Naked Skin” (2024).
Previously unreleased inclusions include:
- “Only You” (Yazoo cover)
- “New Life” (Depeche Mode cover)
- “The Circus” (Erasure cover)
- “This Is Not A Love Song (Goit!)” (Public Image Ltd. cover)
- “Love Is A Stranger” (Eurythmics cover)
- “The Safety Dance” (Men Without Hats cover)
- “Centripetal (Extended)”
- “Frozen To The Core (Travelling) (Extended)”
- “Twisted Mind (Nova Pulsar Remix by Roberto Alevar)”
- “Radio Announcement from John Tupper’s Synthtopia Program”
The set follows a run of nine singles that began with “Follow Me” (December 2022) and concluded with “Ordinary Day” in July 2025. We already covered the band in April 2023 when “Twisted Mind”, which included a cover of Depeche Mode’s “Leave in silence”, was released. The parent album “Neon on My Naked Skin” was issued on February 16, 2024.

About Neon Space Men
Neon Space Men formed in 2022 in Germany as a synth-pop trio. The current lineup is Jochen R. Miller, Oliver Messerschmidt, and Uwe Trümper.
Early releases were distributed digitally and via Bandcamp, beginning with “Follow Me”. The debut album “Neon on My Naked Skin” arrived February 16, 2024, followed by singles and covers throughout late 2024. In 2023 the group also appeared on conzoom Records compilations (“Electropop 25” includes “Twisted Mind (Rob Dust Remix)”; the label’s Depeche Mode tribute series features Neon Space Men with “Follow Me (Extended)”).
Chief editor of Side-Line – which basically means I spend my days wading through a relentless flood of press releases from labels, artists, DJs, and zealous correspondents. My job? Strip out the promo nonsense, verify what’s actually real, and decide which stories make the cut and which get tossed into the digital void. Outside the news filter bubble, I’m all in for quality sushi and helping raise funds for Ukraine’s ongoing fight against the modern-day axis of evil.
Since you’re here …
… we have a small favour to ask. More people are reading Side-Line Magazine than ever but advertising revenues across the media are falling fast. Unlike many news organisations, we haven’t put up a paywall – we want to keep our journalism as open as we can - and we refuse to add annoying advertising. So you can see why we need to ask for your help.
Side-Line’s independent journalism takes a lot of time, money and hard work to produce. But we do it because we want to push the artists we like and who are equally fighting to survive.
If everyone who reads our reporting, who likes it, helps fund it, our future would be much more secure. For as little as 5 US$, you can support Side-Line Magazine – and it only takes a minute. Thank you.
