Brooklyn electro-goth and pop-metal band Makes My Blood Dance have signed to Metropolis Records and release the new digital single “Your Little Hand In Mine“. The track marks the group’s label debut and teases a full-length album and extensive US touring in 2026.
“Your Little Hand In Mine” is described by the band as “our left field heartbreaker. It’s the closest track we have to a ballad, but wired with the same voltage that makes crowds lose their minds when we’re on tour.” Produced by Bret “Epic” Mazur and Mikal Blue, the single is available in digital format via the band’s Bandcamp page and other platforms, while an AI-enhanced video places the band in a surreal mix of fantastic and real-world imagery that “feels like slipping between memory and revelation; a moment of raw truth dressed in myth and electricity,” as they explain.
The release coincides with the announcement of a new tour, a run of seven US headline shows in February 2026, followed by a full US tour in April and May as support for Powerman 5000. The band’s debut album is scheduled to arrive in early 2026 via Metropolis Records and will include “Your Little Hand In Mine” alongside the earlier singles “Heavy Metal Armour” and “Time And A Place”.
About Makes My Blood Dance
Makes My Blood Dance formed in Brooklyn, New York, in 2017 with today’s line-up consiting of EV0 (frontman), Jon Kristian (lead guitar / programmer), SpaceyBaby (bass, backing vocals) and G-reX (beats). Their debut single “Beaming Right Up” followed in 2019.
The band’s early singles included “Beaming Right Up” and “Sick As Our Secrets”, and these led into the 2020 digital EP “Disco Metal”, which collected songs like “Drive To Mars”, “Power Of The Lightside”, “We Push And They Shove” and “Communion”.
In 2021 they issued the live EP “LIVE at Smash Sound Stage (New York City)”, followed by the single “Together Apart” in 2022 plus further digital releases including “Heaven Collides” and “Knowin’ It Without Knowin’ Why” in 2023.
Since 2019, Makes My Blood Dance have toured extensively across the US, including club and festival shows and support slots with acts such as Powerman 5000.
