Andy Bell announces ‘The Crown Jewels’ 4-CD box set – Check studio version of ‘Xanadu’

Andy Bell, the Erasure frontman, will release “The Crown Jewels”, a 4-disc box set expanding his 2025 solo album “Ten Crowns”, on 5 December 2025 via Crown Recordings. The limited edition (4,000 copies) set is available as a 4×CD box with booklet and new sleeve notes. Pre-orders are open at Lexer Music and Mute Bank.

“Ten Crowns” is Bell’s third solo studio album, produced and co-written by Dave Audé and released on 2 May 2025. It blends dance, Euro-disco, and gospel influences and features 10 tracks including collaborations with Debbie Harry and Sarah Potenza.

Andy Bell also issued a brand-new studio recording of “Xanadu”, his cover of the Olivia Newton-John/ELO classic.

“The Crown Jewels” comprises four themed CDs:

  • CD1 – “Ten Crowns Expanded”: the original album plus previously unreleased tracks, including the studio version of “Xanadu.”
  • CD2 – “Ten Crowns Remixed”: every album track remixed by a different artist; includes “Dance for Mercy (Vince Clarke Remix).”
  • CD3 – “Ten Crowns Extended”: Dave Audé extended versions of each album track.
  • CD4 – “Ten Crowns Live”: concert recordings from the 2025 tour, plus the live version of “Xanadu.”

The 4×CD box set is limited to 4,000, with a booklet containing additional photos and new sleeve notes.

Andy Bell’s “Ten Crowns” tour continues across North America in October–December 2025, with listed stops including San Antonio (14 Nov), Denver (20 Nov), Park City (21–22 Nov), Sacramento (25 Nov), San Francisco (28–29 Nov), Portland (2 Dec), Seattle (4 Dec), and Lake Tahoe/Stateline (6 Dec), among others.

Andy Bell (born 1964) is the vocalist of Erasure, the London-formed synth-pop duo he co-founded with Vince Clarke in 1985. Erasure achieved sustained UK chart success from 1986 onward. Erasure’s studio albums include “The Innocents” (1988) through “The Neon” (2020) and “Day-Glo (Based on a True Story)” (2022).

Bell’s solo work includes “Electric Blue” (2005), “Non-Stop” (2010), and “Ten Crowns” (2025). He also issued theatrical offshoot projects under Torsten.
